As you can see, there are some " penyu " or ancient turtles that live in Bali. They usually can be found near Kuta, Serangan, or Sanur. But never harm them as they are protected animal in Bali.

In the old days of Bali, the local people here like to eat " satay penyu " a satay that made from " penyu " meat. It is very delicious, but when penyu claimed as protected animal, then we couldn't find any of  " satay penyu " again.
