The terracing system itself is designed to follow the natural shape and to ease the irrigation or water distribution.

They are often used as a tracking route by the tourist. The tourist can explore the land and also enjoy the scenery like one in the Ubud area.

The rice field blends perfectly with the nature so they do not much like an artificial made by human. Their balance with nature makes it very beautiful to enjoy the scenery. Some time in the middle of it there will be a hut for people to take a rest while enjoy the view. They can have their meal on the hut like they do a picnic. But make sure you have the owner's permission before else, don't worry, the owner will grant you the permission if you ask them. And also you don't have to pay for that.
